Hello, I am interested in a career in accounting. I have a degree in sociology. I think that a return to school to obtain another license for the accounting, as it will be easier to get a master’s degree in Accounting and no experience at all. So I looked at the master’s program for non-accounting majors and must take a lot of credits and courses you are enrolled as a student of higher education are more chers.Je want to know how it will be difficult for me more important in relation to accounting? I’m not used to study hard. I’m used to students being “lazy” and the sentence of passage. I love math, but when I went to I got my degree in Sociology Calculation 1 and I do not go because I could not follow the speed with which the class was mouvement.Tout advice on how I can get on or what the options what should I do? Merci.J ‘I intend to return in August ’07. What can I do in the meantime to prepare? I have a bad memory.

You should be able to transfer most of the money for a new account for the degree of accounting. The media, the classes that you have already taken must be taken into consideration the requirements of an accounting program (like having a double major). I just want to speak with a representative of the school record you are looking crédits.Vous requirements and transfer of information having to do much more work for the accounts that you did for sociology. This is what I would call a “real” curriculum, while the arts are generally a pleasure.

Usually a BA is described as “Re-er all” when it comes to having a job. See your college counselor and see what lessons can be applied to a degree in accounting. If you’re not going to become a VP Finance, just a darn good, well-paid accountant or manager of accounting or CFO, then go to the General Accounting degree or diploma accredited in accounting when you get hired and work as a student taking classes night. Takes 4 or 5 years, but in the meantime you are getting the experience and, hopefully, promotions en route.

If you’ve had problems with Calc I, figure may not be the line of work to continue. Before taking any decision by the school, I suggest you contact a local CPA to see if you could do a job shadow for a day. Explain that you are interested in accounting, but do not know if it is right for you. All places will be willing to do, but if you call a little ‘you will see that fera.Je thought I wanted to be an actuary until I post a day and Shadow realized that was the biggest mistake of my life! This can save much time and money making a mistake to return to school for something you do not like.

I also recommend working on a masters program and to take lessons in preparation for the master. You can also think about getting a master’s degree in finance or an MBA with flexible entry requirements. Getting a degree in accounting is not necessarily automatically prepares for a career in accounting.
