I am willing to rent a house, but I'm still new to this. The request to rent the house to ask for an obligation "financial". What does this mean?

IE == Repayment of loans / debt / insurance, etc.

What bills do you have?
List of repayments of student loans, credit card payments, etc.
They try to make sure that you can comfortably pay the rent.
